You are surrounded by such incredible beauty, after 18 years, it still takes my breathe away. There's any type of climate you'd desire here, its amazing. For you sun lovers & water sport enthusiasts; there are the beautiful coasts (north shore (Haiku), south shore (Kihei/Wailea), west shore (Lahaina to Kapalua), east shore (Hana/Kipuhula) with some of the most pristine beaches anywhere. The water is a turquoise color to dark deep blues. Visibility is well over 100 ft on most days.
A divers, windsurfers, surfers, windfishing, kayakers & snorkeler's delight. Want some cooler weather, try upcountry Maui, from 1000 to 10,000 ft elevations you will find the climate of your choice. Horse Country like you've never experienced with Makawao Town (Paniolo country), Pukalani, Haiku, Kula & more. Several Forest to stroll through, be it the many rainforest's, the pine forest's, eucalyptus's forest and one of the largest Redwood forest in the USA. The top of Haleakala Crater is almost surreal. Everywhere you go and whatever you may see, it is ALL beautiful!! I am so blessed to have been lucky enough to live & work in Lahiana Town these last 18+ years.
